Artist Spotlight: Ghosthustler

Denton Texas' Ghosthustler packs a punch - literally in their new video for the song "Parking Lot Nights", with a Powerglove nonetheless. This unsigned electronic trio play danceable vocoder fueled laptop rock. They're a GvB favorite, and have a couple higher profile shows coming up with the likes of Parts and Labor and Faux Fox. They've recently been in the news for their brand new aforementioned Pete Ohs (of Ohio fame) directed video. You can check out some of their other songs at MySpace. Pretty cool:

I went to high school with Pete Ohs, he's a really cool fellow.
You should go to http://www.director.peteohs.com/musicvideos.html and watch the video he did for "Alive Inside", if I remember right it was your favorite Cathedrals song.
Three cheers for Findlay Ohio!

he has a great interview with Owen Pallett on his blog (The Anchor Center) too. you know how much I dig that band!
little hipster trivia tidbit for you: his blog is named after a long dead venue by the same name that all us high school kids used to rent out and play at.
